Kópavogur Music Institute was founded the 1st of November 1963. It has several students on various levels learning many different instruments. Over the years Kópavogur Music Institute has taken part in many Erasmus+ projects. These projects aim to connect music students all over the world and increase communication between countries.
In these projects the students are encouraged to connect with each other and learn about different cultures. This teaches the students to communicate with people from other countries in a different language and helps build their confidence for a similar interaction in the future.
