Italy - Iceland

Erasmus+ project: Students from CESMI Music School in Rome, Italy and Kópavogur Music Institute, Iceland, met for the first time in late August 2023 in Italy. There the students stayed, practiced and performed two concerts together for a week.

The students stayed and practiced in a monastery in a beautiful area. They spent their free time playing games, exploring the area and chatting with each other and made strong contact.

The two concerts that were held were both successful, the first concert was played at beautiful ruins in Arcinazzo that had been made into a stage of some sort. The second concert was held in a beautiful Monastery of Subiaco with great acoustics.

The Icelandic students spent their last day in Rome, experienced the Roman history and all had great fun.
